Finca Amulén
A special place. Located right off the highway “Ruta 40” Km 2022 southbound, just fifteen minutes from the city of Bariloche and twenty from the airport, Amulen counts with forty hectares of space, being the majority untouched virgin forest. We have a panoramic view of the Lake “Lago Gutierrez” and its majestic beauty, and it is also possible to see the ski mountain “Cerro Catedral” (located twenty minutes away) and all other mountains surrounding it.
We can see its magical snow in winter, its diverse colors in autumn and its harmony in Spring and Summer. A perfect place to enjoy diverse natural settings and plenty of both outdoor and indoor experiences!
Amulén Mountain
A privileged mountain area, where nature is deep and peaceful filled with the forest’s mystical energy.
As you enter the site you can already sense the presence of the trees, the gardens filled with flowers, you can see our wood and rock made houses and the great view to the lake from high above. There are also old wooden
sculptures handcrafted decades ago, and much more to experience. All these defines this incredible place, visually and energetically as a very powerful space, where the connection with nature and our being, takes place on its own.
That’s is why we settled in this natural gem and started Wake Up Patagonia Retreat Center in the first quarter of 2019.
From Amulen Mountain we have direct access, after crossing the road, to our private beaches on the lake in Amulén Lake.
Amulen Mountain counts with three houses built in wood and stone. In one of them “Paihuen” there are three rooms, a large living room with its fireplace, the kitchen, an outdoor deck and a large garden surrounded by flowers overlooking the lake.”Ruca Lemu” has two rooms, the kitchen, a warm living room also with its own fireplace, and it’s garden surrounded by big old trees.
Finally, “Kupelwe” has two rooms, a cozy living room also with fireplace, and outdoor space with a view of “Cerro Catedral”.
Amulén Lake
A stunning and very special space on the shores of the lake “Lago Gutierrez”.
Private access from the road and parking is very close. All its spaces and rooms have a beautiful view of the lake’s clear turquoise waters. A natural path surrounded by trees guides our way to the wonderful beaches right in the Retreat Center’s land.
With extended views all the way close to mount “Cerro Otto” and the other end, where the lake ends near Mascardi Lake, the sunset in summer, and its beautiful rocks, this is place undoubtedly a blessing.
On the first floor, there are two self-sustained apartments with direct external access, one of them accommodating three people and the other accomodates four people. They both count with a large stone deck right over the lake and its views.
On the second floor, there are three in suite bedrooms with their own bathroom and extensive views of the lake, two of them accommodating up to four people, and one double room which accommodates two or three people.
On the third floor, there are an entrance lobby, a living room and events/classes area with wide views of the lake and mountains, a warm fireplace, the kitchen and toilets. Amulen Lago can accommodate a maximum of 18 people.
